Couples Intensives
What is a Couples Intensive and what do they include?
Want to make progress more quickly? A couples intensive is a great way to kick start the therapy process and gain deeper insight and direction from day one. Intensives are highly structured 3 or 6 hour therapy sessions.
These appointments include the cost of the Prepare and Enrich assessment, a thorough relationship and attachment analysis, and a chance to build skills that can be used right away to support growth.
The focus will be on the "how." In other words, you and your partner will gain a deep understanding of how and why you interact the way you do. Conversations will be centered on the way in which you and your partner communicate, connect, and work through issues. Couples will gain understanding into their attachment styles and how best to support one another in the growth process. The longer intensive will also include individualized recommendations and structured reparative conversations geared towards creating new and healing ways of interacting.
